Deppy Vassiliadis Foundation “adopted” the baby birds to support the action of ΑΝΙΜΑ which has undertaken their care and upbringing during the spring and summer months of 2021.
ΑΝΙΜΑ comes to cover a basic need for the protection and conservation of wildlife in the country, with the main activity being the care and reintegration of wild animals in their natural environment.
With this “adoption” the Foundation financed the purchase of specialized food that is considered necessary for the proper development of the baby birds. This action is extremely strain, as the young are born almost simultaneously during the spring months, and especially at the beginning of the summer, the workload for the staff of the Association that takes care of them, as well as the cost of feeding them, increase significantly.
We are very happy to support these actions, so that hundreds of baby birds can find a safe shelter, be fed properly, and prepare for their reintegration into suitable habitats in Greece.
