"The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention"
Oscar Wilde

Deppy Vasileiadis was born in Athens on 1955. She was the wife of Nikos Vasileiadis and mother of Vyron and Filippos Vasileiadis. Deppy was a passionate, active and sensitive person who loved life and through her charitable work protected the environment, animals and children in need. Her caring character and actions were the vehicle through which she was inspiring people to act.

Driven by her strong and decisive character, her first-born son, Vyron Vasileiadis, decided to establish the Deppy Vasileiadis Foundation (DV Foundation), in order to commemorate her devotion and support.

The DV Foundation is a philanthropic organization which, among its other activities, aims to direct grants to nonprofit organizations. It funds nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated effective management skills and have achieved significant, long-lasting, and tangible results.

The Foundation’s initial goal is to award grants in the areas of children’s education & welfare and the fight against animal cruelty, and advocacy.
